Peace for Palestinians

I’m writing today to express my deep concerns and dismay at the United States’ involvement in the war on Gaza. We should be leaders for peace rather than war and violence. The situation in Gaza is not a targeted one to simply root out Hamas, it is an all out assault on all Palestinians there. I encourage all US elected representatives to take a firmer stance to stop military and diplomatic aid to Israel and urge Israel’s elected representatives to stop the bombing and shelling of innocents. There has to be a better way than the current strategy which is only going to create more animosity, hatred and future violence by those so unjustly impacted by this war.
