NO to Bondi & Hegseth, NO unqualified persons with reputation of sex misconduct

Please: You must insist that Trump sign ethics forms and that his nominees undergo FBI background checks. Remember what happened to the tip line about Bret Kavanaugh? Don't let that happen again. Pam Bondi is egregiously unsuited to be AG. Her prior connections to Trump rule her out. Say no. Hegseth has no appropriate experience and has a reputation for sexual misconduct. Even if the president himself is a felon and a rapist, I say NO to any cabinet nominee with even a reputation for sexual harassment. Cabinet appointees must have impeccable reputations, no skeletons in the closet, shady ties, vulnerability to blackmail or reputation for sexual misconduct. Senator Collins should especially reflect now on how History will judge and damn her if she objected-- as indeed she did-- to highly qualified Biden nominees because they had tweeted mean things about her and now would consent to individuals who are cosy with Putin, have a shady history of sexual impropriety, have previously been connected in inappropriate ways with Trump. Do NOT act as if "advise and consent" means you do not have a voice or do not have the right to reject a dozen nominations. You must reject every unqualified grifting nominee of ill repute. Reject climate change deniers and conspiracists; reject anyone who cannot pass an FBI check. Also: we are on the brink of climate emergency. DO NOT let Trump stuff climate change deniers, anti vaxxers and the like into positions of influence. Your choices now are your legacy. DO NOT succumb to peer pressure like some naive teenager. Just say NO and NO again to the entire troop of laughably unqualified nominees.
