Oppose Harmful Provisions in the Budget Reconciliation Bill

PALMER, as your constituent, I urge you to oppose the budget reconciliation bill’s harmful cuts to vital government programs and investment in the new Gestapo. Specifically, I’m VERY concerned about… • the boost in funding for ICE (Trump’s gestapo) • the limit on federal judges’ ability to hold the Trump administration accountable • the cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, • the cuts to federal worker retirement benefits • the defunding of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, • the sale of public lands and parks for fossil fuel production • the roll back of the Inflation Reduction Act's urgent climate-focused programs, and • the ability for congress to roll back established federal regulations Congress should pass a fair and responsible budget that helps working families and communities, not one that slashes benefits to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
