Cyclospora? Screwworm? Measles? We didn't vote for the 10 plagues

Now Cyclospora: Yup. That's the infectious agent that can cause explosive diarrhea; cyclospora might be lurking on your lettuce or berries or other produce. The cyclospora parasite, which causes severe diarrhea, has sickened more than 1,200 people across the U.S. Experts say the true number is much higher. In July last year, the CDC made tracking cyclospora optional as it scaled back its Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network. That was already a bad policy. Then in March 2025, RFK Jr. *dissolved* the CDC's Division of Parasitic Diseases and Malaria, which monitored parasitic diseases. WHY? Why would anyone charged with protecting public health do that??? RFK jr needs to be removed. We've already seen the return of measles and the reappearance of screw-worm, --which was previously controlled under a long-standing inspection system. Why are you permitting the destruction of public food safety and health??? We did NOT vote for a regime that would duplicate the biblical plagues of Egypt. Axing agencies that keep food and livestock inspected and safe is costing lives. Congress owns the deaths and disruptions caused by RFK jr and others who are eliminating the inspections that keep us safe. Impeach RFK Jr. Legislate to restore food safety and food and livestock inspection and regulation.
