When the executive branch can ignore a court order and label civic advocates as “terrorist sympathizers,” it’s no longer lawful governance—it’s authoritarianism. I urge you to take the following actions immediately to uphold the Constitution and restore the rule of law: Hold public oversight hearings to investigate the administration’s defiance of the Supreme Court’s ruling in the Abrego Garcia case. Compel sworn testimony from DHS, ICE, and DOJ officials involved in his deportation and continued detention. Use congressional authority—including subpoenas and appropriations tools—to enforce compliance with the Court’s directive and ensure Kilmar Abrego Garcia is returned safely to the U.S.
