Reject All of Trump’s Support For Oppression of Palestinians NOW

I am writing to express my strong opposition to the recent proposal by President Donald Trump to provide an additional $1 billion in military aid to Israel, as well as the ongoing $8 billion weapons transfer. These actions not only betray the trust of the American people but also actively fund violence against Palestinian civilians. The United States should never support war crimes or the ongoing military occupation that has devastated Palestinian lives for decades. Furthermore, President Trump’s recent statement suggesting that the U.S. should “take over The Gaza Strip” and “own it” is a blatant act of imperialism that must be condemned in the strongest terms. No nation has the right to “own” Gaza—only the Palestinian people do. Any attempt to justify U.S. control over Gaza mirrors the worst aspects of colonialism and undermines international law. Instead of funding endless wars and foreign occupations, the U.S. government should prioritize the needs of its own citizens—investing in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. At a time when millions of Americans struggle with rising costs, housing insecurity, and lack of medical care, sending billions to fuel war abroad is unconscionable. As my elected representative, it is your responsibility to publicly oppose these weapons transfers and reject any U.S. claim over Gaza. I urge you to take a stand against militarism, vote against any further military aid to Israel, and advocate for diplomacy and human rights rather than war and occupation.
