Stop Trump’s Ballroom

The recently-published Senate Judiciary and HSGAC reconciliation bills are out. They include $1 billion for Donald Trump’s ballroom, a structure he claimed was fully-funded by donations. This is an outrageous fleecing of taxpayers that must be stopped in its tracks. Additionally, a full audit must be undertaken of a project that so far has demolished the East Wing of the People’s House under the sketchiest of excuses, the non-competitive awarding of contracts and the secretive nature of the previously mentioned donations. The Trump Ballroom Project is already an administrative disaster and must be brought to heel, not awarded a billion dollar taxpayer-funded gift.
