Multiple people, including two ex-wives, reported Brouillette's pattern of abuse, intimidation, and coercive control to law enforcement, courts, and DHHS over many years. His second ex-wife, Lucinda Brouillette, filed for a protection from abuse order the same week as the shooting. This was not hidden information. If federal agencies are arming and deploying people with this kind of documented history, the public has every right to demand answers about how that happens and what will be done to stop it from happening again.
