Pressure Netanyahu to stop bombing, deliver aid and get the hostages back NOW!

I was glad to see President Biden increase pressure on Benjamin Netanyahu to enhance aid to increasingly destitute Palestinians. However, while Israel claims trucks crossing into Gaza have increased, that conflicts with UN records. One of Netanyahu’s pledges to President Biden, to open the Ashdod port north of Gaza as a portal to seaborne humanitarian aid, has led to no apparent action, according to the Guardian. Meanwhile, the administrator of USAid said in a congressional committee session on Wednesday that expert assessments from mid-March of imminent famine in Gaza were “credible”. It is deeply upsetting to know that American weapons and funding are aiding and abetting this calamity. Meanwhile 100+ hostages have yet to be rescued. This is a devastating failure across the board. The Israeli government must address the human rights catastrophe happening in Gaza. They must follow through on their promises to increase aid. They must focus on getting the hostages back. President Biden must push them on this hard! And really, Netanyahu must go. He’s a failed leader. He’s put his political survival over the lives of the hostages—which should’ve been his first priority—over Israel’s safety, and over the wellbeing of civilians. U.S. pressure must be brought to bear, and it needs to happen now. The American people won’t tolerate more aid going to the Israeli government under these circumstances. Make Netanyahu keep his promises. Focus on a ceasefire. Focus on the hostages. Focus on feeding the hungry. Anything else will just cause more bloodshed. I don’t want my taxpayer dollars going towards it. Thanks.
