When this faction attacks again, and it surely will, if you have given Trump a pass, we will hold you personally responsible.
You have an opportunity to choose your oath to “protect and defend” over your fear of Trump and his White Supremacist base.
You will be remembered by this act only. There is nothing you have done or will do that will not be eclipsed by your decision to either hold Donald Trump responsible or give him a pass, again.
Had you voted as an American rather than a Republican partisan the first time this would not be happening now. We’ll give you a pass for that if, and only if, you hold him to account now. If you do not, you will be considered in agreement with this attack on our Country. That we should let this continue on and possibly lose our Precious Democracy, because you and your cronies have given in to fear. Do you really think that Trump will not throw you all under the bus when you are no longer useful?
For all of us, please take this opportunity to rid us of this cancer by convicting and making Trump unable to hold office. You will be judged by how you respond to this moment in our Country’s history.
