Do not give in to White House bullying!

This administration has exactly one “negotiating” technique: threats. Under no circumstances should you give in to bullying from the White House, no matter what they threaten to do. You have this one chance to fight for the people who really matter: everyday working families. Don’t screw this up. If a shutdown is necessary, you can explain why and how it was done to benefit us. We will understand. This time around, every single Democrat in Congress must stand firm and stand together until your demands are met. Do the right thing.
