Safeguard reproductive rights nationwide - Support SAVE Act

The Save Access to Abortion Services Act (SAVE Act) is a proposed federal law that aims to protect access to reproductive healthcare services, including abortion care. It would prohibit states from restricting travel across state lines for the purpose of seeking abortion services and prevent states from restricting medication abortion through restrictions on mail delivery or telehealth. The SAVE Act also prevents states from imposing criminal or civil penalties on reproductive healthcare providers for legally providing these services. Additionally, it establishes a statutory right for healthcare providers to provide and assist in abortion services in emergency situations where the life and health of the mother are in jeopardy. Given the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court, such protections have become increasingly critical to safeguard access to essential reproductive healthcare nationwide.
