It is important that the Governor Cuomo once again defers sales tax remittances without penalty or interest. Small businesses as well as restaurants have been unable to open at full capacity since March. They are struggling to keep afloat during the coronavirus pandemic. I hope that Senator Lanza and Assembly Member Malliotakis support and encourage the Governor to take this small step in helping people.
