Support and Co-sponsor the "MCCARTHY Shutdown Act"

Rep. Angie Craig has introduced a new bill to prohibit members of Congress from being paid during a government shutdown. It’s called the "My Constituents Cannot Afford Rebellious Tantrums, Handle Your Shutdown Act," also known as the "MCCARTHY Shutdown Act." I support this bill and would like you to do so as well. I find it unacceptable that Congressmembers still get paid during a government shutdown while other federal employees considered "essential" are expected to work with no pay, and "non-essential" federal employees are put on furlough with no pay.
