History Is Watching—Will Congress Defend the Constitution?

How much more evidence do you need before you fulfill your constitutional duty? Donald Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that he believes the presidency places him above the law. Every day Congress fails to act, you normalize abuses of power that would have been unthinkable under any previous president. The Constitution provides impeachment to stop exactly this kind of misconduct. No president should be permitted to govern by intimidation, retaliation, or personal loyalty. Congress cannot continue to excuse conduct that would never be tolerated from any other public official. The question is no longer whether Donald Trump has pushed constitutional boundaries—it is whether Congress is willing to defend those boundaries at all. Impeachment is not a partisan weapon. It is a constitutional responsibility when a president abuses the powers of the office and places personal interests above the nation. History will not judge you by your statements.
