Oppose the EATS Act

In the absence of Federal protections other states have passed similar laws protecting the welfare of farm animals and these laws would be crushed by the EATS Act, currently being considered as part of the Farm Bill. Written by Big Agriculture, the EATS Act aims to drive a stake through the heart of California’s Proposition 12 and upend the expressed desire of Californians to see farm animals treated with dignity and respect, as well as head off a host of food borne diseases. I ask you to oppose the EATS Act.
