These were extra-judicial killings and clear violations of international law. Congress must not stand by while the executive branch usurps its constitutional war powers. You have both the duty and the authority to halt this dangerous escalation before it drags us into another unlawful war in Latin America. That is why I am demanding that you cosponsor and actively support Rep. Ilhan Omar’s War Powers Resolution—along with its Senate companion introduced by Senator Adam Schiff.
