Support and cosponsor the HOME Act for Nevadans

Thank you to Senator Jacky Rosen and Congressman Steven Horsford, who introduced the Housing Oversight and Mitigating Exploitation (HOME) Act. It is legislation that would lower housing costs for Nevadans by cracking down on price gouging by corporate investors, direct the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to investigate price manipulation and make it illegal for anyone to rent or sell a unit at an unreasonable price. There also needs to be rules and protocols set pertaining to corporate buyers in the state of Nevada to ensure average residents have access to affordable houses and property.
