Support the Supreme Court's Ruling Protecting Mail-In Ballot Grace Periods

The Supreme Court got this one right. Justice Barrett's majority opinion upholding Mississippi's law allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day to be counted up to five days after is exactly the kind of ruling that protects voters' access to the ballot. Grace periods like this exist because mail delivery is unpredictable — a postmark proves a voter met the deadline, and throwing out those ballots disenfranchises real people for reasons beyond their control. The fury from MAGA figures like Senator Eric Schmitt and Rep. Abe Hamadeh only confirms this ruling threatens their ability to discard legitimate votes. I want you to publicly support this decision and oppose any legislative effort to eliminate mail-in ballot grace periods at the state or federal level. Voters deserve a real choice, and that starts with making sure every legally cast ballot is counted.
