Do not allow the destruction of the Boundary Waters! Do not give away the Boundary Waters! The Senate is about to hand over some of America's most pristine lands to a foreign mining company. Once the waters surrounding lands are contaminated by sulphide mining this pristine wilderness would be ruined forever. The destruction would be irreparable. Hidden in the Budget Bill are provisions (sections 80131 and 80151) that would: -Give thousands of acres surrounding the Boundary Waters to the Chilean mining giant Antofagasta -Roll out the red carpet for toxic copper-sulfide mining that could poison this irreplaceable wilderness forever -Block all court challenges so there would be no legal recourse to stop the destruction.
