Shut the government down! Do not agree to any full year CR funding bills unless they benefit the people! Do not allow the GOP to insist that their budget cuts to programs like Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans programs, health programs, research programs are necessary. Too many times in the last 48 days has the Trump administration slashed through our government and made huge mistakes and then had to reverse those actions. Yet somehow the reversals of those actions are taking an incredibly long time to reverse. Yet, the taxpayers have been having to foot the bill or bear the burden of the wealthy for far too long! And the last 48 days have been a painful reminder: Trump’s constant travel to Maralago; Elon Musk blowing up SpaceX rockets; Trump’s visits to the Super Bowl and NASCAR; DOGE’s budget; DOGE website exposing national secrets; DOGE’s careless firings. Enough is enough. Do not allow the GOP to pretend that tax cuts for the wealthiest class (people who already have everything) are more important than the rest of us who live paycheck to paycheck (people who struggle to achieve the necessities) Allow the government to shutdown, do not allow the GOP to push forward a bad enacted budget that continues to hurt “we the people”
