Shut Down Aliens.gov and Hold Its Creators Accountable

Shut down Aliens.gov immediately, and pursue impeachment and removal for every official involved in creating it. This website — branded with UFO imagery to mock and demean immigrants — is a government-funded tool that lets anyone search immigrant arrests by city and state, complete with a tip line to report neighbors. It frames human beings as an extraterrestrial threat. That is not policy. That is state-sponsored dehumanization. This is embarrassing to our country, disrespectful to millions of people who live and work here, and rooted in paranoid, hateful ideology that has no place in any government agency. The officials who conceived and launched this site made a deliberate choice to humiliate and endanger a vulnerable population. That choice has consequences. I expect you to use every tool available to investigate who authorized this, cut its funding, and ensure the people responsible are held fully accountable.
