Hello. I wrote today to urge you to quickly introduce, support and pass legislation to make the District of Columbia the 51st state in the union. The January 6th coup attempt makes clear that issues like the the inability of city leaders to protect the District in emergencies, let alone taxation without representation, is unacceptable.
