An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Release full Epstein files to restore public trust

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The decision to redact the names of prominent individuals associated with Jeffrey Epstein raises concerns about transparency and accountability. While protecting victim privacy is understandable, redacting the names of public figures linked to Epstein gives the appearance of obstructing justice and shielding potential wrongdoing from public scrutiny. The public has a right to know the full extent of Epstein's connections, especially to those in positions of power and influence. A complete and unredacted release of the files would help restore faith in the impartiality of the justice system. However, any information directly identifying victims of abuse should absolutely be redacted to safeguard their privacy and prevent further trauma. A balanced approach that discloses relevant information while protecting victims is critical for uncovering the truth and ensuring justice is served equitably.
