HHS must restore mRNA research funding

RFK jr has revealed that HHS will end $500 million in mRNA research funding, calling it "ineffective" for respiratory illness. THIS IS FACTUALLY INCORRECT. mRNA technology has saved millions of lives during the COVID pandemic, as well as been used to develop an RSV vaccine. Research is under way to to use mRNA techniques to create a cure for cancer--imagine that! By ending this funding, he unnecessarily puts our lives at risk and gives away our leadership in biomedical technology. Congress must call him before the appropriate committees and require him to restore this money immediately. The lives of your voters depend on it.
