Condition ICE and CBP Funding on Accountability and Oversight Reforms

Congress cannot approve another dollar for ICE and CBP without binding reforms that end the unchecked, militarized tactics putting families at risk. Vote no on any funding bill that doesn't mandate real accountability. ICE and CBP agents who have committed unlawful acts must be held accountable. Every agent must wear clear IDs and body cameras with no exceptions. These agencies must be barred from entering schools, churches, and hospitals. DHS must be required to cooperate with local and state level investigations where unlawful actions may have occurred. Masked raids and enforcement without identification have terrorized communities while shielding agents from consequences. States need the power to investigate abuse when federal agencies won't police themselves. Sensitive locations like schools and hospitals should be off-limits, period. These aren't radical demands. They're basic standards that every law enforcement agency should meet. Funding without these conditions is a blank check for more abuse.
