An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Just Say No to Bitcoin

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I just read an article about Senator Lummis from Wyoming has a bill to direct the US Treasury to buy bitcoin on some crazy idea that it will hold its value. I would just like to state clearly that this is a bad idea and that you should not even entertain this bill of hers. Vote no, encourage your colleague to vote no as well. Since the launch of cryptocurrency, we've seen all manner of insanity occur in the market: whole currencies popping up and disappearing over night, exchanges literally being robbed blind, criminals using it to launder money. Our country's finances should have nothing to do with cryptocurrency. It's a lawless land run by liars and thieves. It is also offensive that a Republican senator would dare suggest this as a "solution" to the debt our country carries, when a lot of it is a direct result of her party refusing to tax the wealthy their fair share, or refusing to provide the IRS the funds necessary to collect taxes from the rich who refuse to pay what little they're actually asked to contribute. A snake oil solution to a problem of her party's making. Vote no on the bitcoin nonsense.
