Demand for Full Compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act

I am writing to express my outrage regarding the Department of Justice’s failure to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act (Public Law 119-38). As of today’s legal deadline, December 19, 2025, the DOJ has admitted to only a partial release of records, flagrantly ignoring the statutory requirement to make all unclassified records publicly available in a searchable format within 30 days of the law’s enactment.
The law is clear: it does not permit "rolling releases" or indefinite delays for administrative convenience. The DOJ has had ample time to prepare these documents, yet they continue to withhold hundreds of thousands of pages that the American people have a right to see.
As my representative, I urge you to:
1. Call for an immediate oversight hearing to question Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on this failure to comply with federal law.
2. Support a Resolution of Contempt or other disciplinary measures against DOJ leadership for violating a direct mandate from Congress.
3. Demand a full, unredacted accounting of every document currently being withheld, ensuring that "political sensitivity" is not being used as a shield for redactions.
The public’s trust in our justice system depends on transparency. We expect our elected officials to ensure that no agency, including the DOJ, is above the law.
I look forward to hearing what specific steps you are taking to hold the Department of Justice accountable.
