I am writing to urge the United States to stop blocking humanitarian aid from reaching the Palestinian people.
Numerous aid organizations are prepared and equipped to enter Gaza and provide life-saving support. These organizations do not require alternative plans or new frameworks—they simply need the freedom to operate. Any effort to devise alternative solutions only delays the urgent relief that is needed and wastes valuable time and resources. The most effective action the U.S. can take is to step aside and allow humanitarian aid to flow freely.
As I write this, children and families are starving. Many have already endured unimaginable trauma—the destruction of their homes, the loss of loved ones, and the constant threat of violence. I implore you, in the name of humanity and justice, to take all available actions to end our complicity in this crisis.
Let us be remembered not for our silence or obstruction, but for our courage and compassion.
