In the wake of this misinformation campaign, the death toll among children quadrupled. This is not the behavior of someone fit to shape health policy. Public health should be guided by science, not conspiracy theories. Allowing Mr. Kennedy to have a platform in government will directly endanger lives, undermine trust in medical institutions, and roll back decades of progress in disease prevention.
