Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. Want to get a taste of life under the Taliban? Pass SB8. Personal responsibility. Freedom to make your own choices. No government mandates. Individual liberty. These are the hypocritical phrases your party uses when it serves your political purposes. The current state of pandemic passivity in this state proves that your great concern for life stops at birth. Your position on this topic, as in so many things right now, is wrong-headed. And does not reflect the majority of America. I ask the question again, why would any forward thinking business move to Texas? Hard to vote. Hard to keep the lights on in bad weather. Hard to exercise your individual freedom and right of choice, unless you’re wanting to infect yourself and others by denying vaccines. This whole move to take us back to the alleyways is repulsive. Who the hell do you think you are?
