I am writing to you to urge you to support the re-authorization a Pepper faaaar. It is in jeopardy due to the lies of the republican party and members in it, that it has anything to do with abortion, which it does not. It seems the GOP will stoop to any length it can to besmirch President Biden in their quest to make sure that no woman has a choice Even if it's outside the country. I am writing you to urge the reauthorization of PEPFAR, one of the most successful and humanitarian efforts, put out by George W. Bush. In an effort to besmirch President Biden, at any cost, certain members of the GOP have bought into the lies of the Heartland Institute, and assert that the program pays for abortions, which is an outright lie. In fact, the program has been so successful that it's saved many babies' lives that otherwise would've been lost due to the AIDS epidemic.
It is a shameful and mean thing for the GOP to say this stuff, but as I have become aware, unfortunately being represented by Rep. Buck, they will lie to do anything to get their agenda across with respect to controlling women's lives.
