We need a president that knows his primary job is to uphold the constitution

In President Trump's May 2025 interview on Meet The Press, he stated that he doesn't know if he needs to uphold the US Constitution. At best, much of this congress is ignoring his words, and at worst, they are enabling and reinforcing the sentiment. You took an oath to uphold the constitution. So did our president. If you aren't willing to follow procedure to respond to his unconstitutional actions and messages, then you are doing us the same disservice that this president is. If that is the case, please resign your position so that someone willing to fulfill its duties and uphold the required oath can represent us. The president's approval is lower than any president in decades, and for good reason. Yes, much of America did not like the track we are on and chose a change in hopes of doing better, but where we landed is anything but better -- in fact, it is demonstrably dangerous to our republic. Loyalty tests, ignoring SCOTUS, and flippant responses regarding oaths to our constitution are definitely not a solution to what ailed us in the past. The longer we stay on this path, the longer the road to recovery (if we can still find it at all). Yes, we can do better than we have, but this is not the way. Please act now in the best interest of your constituents and your country.
