Save special education

I'm writing due to the devasting news that Trump and his Republican regime closed the department of Special Education. This will have life alter ring effects on the nation and needs to be stopped now. States need to band together today to publicly and loudly state that vow to protect IDEA and FAPE and will make sure children with disabilities will continue to be protected and their Iaeap or 504 will be followed. As a special education teacher, I know from experience it is hard to get the services your child may need from your school. It is especially hard, if you are living in a lower income area. You need to stand up for Maryland and declare this now. Protect our state and our children's future. Thank you for your time
