Ukraine is ready to negotiate for peace and sign a minerals deal with the US at any time in any convenient format. The recent White House meeting with President Trump was regrettable and did not go as intended, but it is time to make things right through future cooperation and constructive communication. The illegal Russian invasion threatens Ukraine's sovereignty and the liberty of its people. This grave situation calls for professionalism and respect among allies, not petty preoccupations with TV ratings or personal pride. Ukraine needs US support to uphold the principles of freedom and national self-determination against foreign aggression.
