I am writing to you in utter despair and urgency. The so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that just passed the House is nothing short of a disaster for the American people. I beg you—please—do everything in your power to oppose this bill in the Senate and rally others to stand against it as well.
This legislation is not designed to help everyday Americans. It’s a giveaway to the wealthiest 1%—people who are already hoarding power and influence while doing nothing to support the working class or the vulnerable. It is unacceptable to allow this kind of inhumane policymaking to go unchallenged.
Each day, I and countless others are consumed by anxiety and fear over the direction our country is headed. The emotional toll is overwhelming. We cannot survive three more years of policies like this—policies that harm the most vulnerable and enrich the already powerful. Lives are at stake.
