An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stand Up And Fight Back For Your Constituents

29 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

I am one of your constituents and I demand you stand up and defend us in Congress. We are approaching the end of the fiscal year and there will be many discussions in Congress about funding the next fiscal year. I demand four things of you in order to fund the government into the next fiscal year. First, restore healthcare funding. That includes all the cuts made to Medicaid, including state Medicaid taxes, Affordable Care Act cuts and Medicare cuts due to the increased deficit. Second, restore nutrition assistance – we should not have millions of hungry people in America Third - NO Recission. No more give backs to the Republicans once a funding agreement is reached and guarantees that the money will be spent as authorized unlike the way the Trump administration has chosen to ignore the directions of Congress. Fourth, demand that all the Epstein files be released, read into the Congressional record, and released to the public. I expect you to speak loudly about each of these four and to hold the line. I am counting on you.
