Support the Student Loan Reduction E.O.

I want you to support the recent Executive Order helping middle-class families and our students reduce their student debt by $10,000 and $20,000 for Pell Grantees. The majority of middle-class Americans support this effort. Members of Congress were all quick to support corporations and millionaires for billions of dollars in tax cuts, so don’t play the “how is this fair” card. That amount is not a lot for how much student debt these individuals have but can make a difference and we should be educating as many as we can, not just only those who can afford it. When most of you were in college the cost of college was reasonable. Go look up what it cost now even at most state colleges. Compare the cost of this program that will help so many struggling students to the cost of how many corporations got PPP loans that were used not to retain staff but for shareholder buybacks! I support this Executive Order and ask that you do too.
