Democrats Must BLOCK the Republican’s Continuing Budget Resolution!

congress We are, once again, up against a budget deadline: Congress must act by midnight Friday 3/14/25, to avoid a partial government shutdown, and the vote may come up as early as Tuesday. However, it will be hard for the GOP to pass a Continuing Resolution, without help from some Democrats. Nobody wants a government shut-down, but the CR that the Republicans are trying to push through gives too much control to Trump, and cuts programs that families rely on and agencies that keep our communities safe. Democrats need to present a united front against the current CR - if they stand together, they can block the passage of this unacceptable CR, and force the Republicans to negotiate.
