Remove LIES About January 6 From the White House Website

I am writing to formally condemn the blatant lies and historical revisionism currently published on the taxpayer-funded White House website regarding the events of January 6, 2021 and the 2020 presidential election. The facts are not in dispute. Joe Biden won the 2020 presidential election fairly and lawfully. That outcome was confirmed by state election officials from both parties, dozens of court rulings, federal and state audits, recounts, and the certification of the Electoral College. No evidence of widespread voter fraud has ever been produced—because it does not exist. Repeating false claims does not make them true. January 6, 2021 was not a protest. It was an insurrection. It was a violent attack on the United States Capitol, carried out in an attempt to overturn a lawful election and nullify the votes of millions of Americans. It was incited and led by Donald Trump after months of deliberate lies about the election, pressure campaigns against state officials, and a direct call for his supporters to “fight” to stop the certification of results he had lost. Five people died in connection with January 6. Over 140 law enforcement officers were injured. Members of Congress were forced to flee. The peaceful transfer of power—one of the most sacred pillars of American democracy—was attacked from within. These are documented facts, established by criminal convictions, sworn testimony, video evidence, and bipartisan congressional findings. Using public funds to promote false narratives that excuse, downplay, or rewrite an insurrection is an abuse of power and a betrayal of the American people. The White House website belongs to the public—not to propaganda, not to political grievances, and not to lies. Democracy cannot survive if truth is treated as optional. I demand the immediate removal of false and misleading content regarding the 2020 election and January 6, 2021 from all official government platforms, and its replacement with fact-based, historically accurate information. Anything less is a deliberate attempt to undermine democratic governance using taxpayer dollars. The American people deserve honesty. History deserves truth. And no amount of lying—by Donald Trump or anyone else—will ever change what happened.
