Helping America or distractions from the damage being done to our country?

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent executive orders issued by President Donald Trump. It seems that these orders are just noise and not serving the needs of the American people as a whole. Instead they are meant to be benefiting a small portion of the population that supported him in the election, encourage hate and weaken America as a whole. They appear to do little to address the critical issues facing our country, such as the economy, homelessness, and jobs. For example, many of his orders related to deregulation have been shown to harm vulnerable communities, particularly in the environmental and healthcare sectors. President Trump is prioritizing corporate interests over the health and well-being of everyday Americans. There will be no economic recovery under his leadership. His orders related to tax cuts, aimed primarily at corporations and the wealthy, have not trickled down to improve the lives of working-class Americans. The focus has instead been on policies that benefit those already at the top, exacerbating wealth inequality and leaving many without the resources they need to thrive. Furthermore, the spending cuts have already proved to have a detrimental effect on both private and government sectors, leading to job losses, homelessness , food insecurity and reduced services. As a result, many Americans who depend on government services are now at risk of further hardship, with less support available to help them meet their basic needs. I also want to address the shifting political landscape. Recent polling shows that President Trump’s approval numbers have significantly dropped, with more voters now leaning towards the Democratic Party in the upcoming race. This shift is concerning for the Republican Party, as it could lead to the loss of the Republican majority in Congress, particularly if these trends continue. The defection of voters who once supported him highlights the need for a course correction that truly addresses the challenges facing everyday Americans, rather than catering to a small, select group. I urge you to hold President Trump accountable and push for policies that prioritize the needs of all Americans, not just a select few. We need meaningful change that addresses the challenges of homelessness, unemployment, struggling economy, and government bloat. It is clear that current president’s actions are not making the impact needed to improve the lives of the American people.
