Support President Biden's budget! Tax the rich to fund Medicare!

Yesterday President Biden released his budget, which explicitly details his plans for strengthening Medicare, including increasing the Medicare tax rate on income above $400,000 from 3.8 percent to 5 percent and closing Medicare tax loopholes that allow the wealthy and businesses to shield portions of their income from taxes. For the past 58 years, American workers like me have diligently paid into Medicare with the understanding that it would be there for all Americans 65 and over. Now, President Biden has a clear plan to ensure Medicare’s solvency for future generations -- and it begins by increasing taxes on the wealthy. It’s time to increase taxes on the wealthiest Americans and ensure a strengthened Medicare system for decades to come. Please support President Biden’s budget. Thanks.
