An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Reject Bill Denying Vital Care to Transgender Youth

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

This proposed legislation, House Bill 3328, bans all transition-related medical care for minors, including puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries, with the sole exception being "corrective" procedures for intersex conditions. This sweeping prohibition would deny transgender youth access to evidence-based, potentially life-saving care endorsed by every major medical authority. Countless studies show that access to gender-affirming care significantly improves mental health outcomes and reduces risks like depression and suicide for trans youth. Medical decisions should be made between patients, families, and doctors - not politicians. I urge you to oppose House Bill 3328, a harmful bill that undermines the established medical consensus and puts vulnerable young people at risk. Every child deserves access to the care they need to live healthy, authentic lives. This misguided legislation substitutes political ideology for medical expertise and infringes on the rights of transgender minors, their families, and their doctors. Please stand up for our trans youth and vote no on this discriminatory proposal, House Bill 3328.
