Scrutinize DOGE-Oklahoma's goals, oversight, and potential overreach

The announcement of DOGE-Oklahoma raises concerns about potential overreach and misuse of state resources. While efforts to streamline government and increase efficiency can be laudable, aligning with controversial national initiatives like Division of Government Efficiency (DOGE) warrants scrutiny. The selection of an unpaid advisor with close ties to the administration also risks conflicts of interest and lack of accountability. Oklahomans deserve transparency on how taxpayer dollars will be utilized through this program. There are legitimate questions around protecting vital services, maintaining proper oversight, and avoiding partisan agendas disguised as fiscal responsibility. State government should operate for the benefit of all citizens, not simply adopt policies from the federal level without robust public discourse. I urge you to critically examine DOGE-Oklahoma's goals, methods, and leadership. Ensure there are sufficient checks and balances to prevent overreach or politically-motivated budget cuts that could undermine Oklahoma's needs and values.
