Vote to prevent government control over women’s reproductive rights

Our American Women deserve strong heath care choices and the freedom to choose what is best for their body. Please do not legislate away their rights to make choices when it comes to their reproductive care. Please ensure they have access to safe and legal abortion choices in our state if they determine that is what is best for their body. In particular, please do not make American women who are undergoing incredible challenges, such as rape, or worse, a rape by a family member, be forced to carry to term an embryo or fetus which was forced on them. We should not turn our American women into livestock. American women need to be able to make a choice if contraception fails, or in cases of ectopic pregnancy, or in cases of rape or incest, and in many other cases where the embryo or fetus may no longer be viable. The difficult situations that a woman may be in when it comes to reproductive issues are numerous and far too complex to legislate down to a simple ban on abortions. We must allow our women to make the right choices for themselves and their fetuses. We must legislate their ability to choose what is in their best interests in terms of their reproductive rights. We most vote to empower or women to choose their reproductive destiny. I personally hope that a woman never would have to be at a point in life where they must consider an abortion. Though, I understand that life is complex and surprising. Contraception may fail and a struggling mother may simply not be able to take on another child. Or, a woman may be raped and unable to prevent themselves by being impregnated by the man who raped her. Or, the embryo or fetus may have no path to viability such as in cases of ectopic pregnancy and the fetus need not be carried to term while risking the mother. I know that as a citizen I need to empower American women with the right to make choices as to what is best for her body, as I do not know, nor do I need to know, the circumstances which led to her carrying a fetus which . We cannot legislate away that right from her to make sensible choices. I don’t want to have our government force a 10 year child who has been raped by their father or uncle, from being forced by the government to carry to term that pregnancy. The government should not force rapists to have their babies. Women must be able to choose. We need strong American women with full control over their destiny. Legislating away their reproductive rights, and making it illegal for them to choose what is best for their body during a very difficult time in their life would be against the spirit of our Freedoms. Please support American women and please add legislation to ensure that women have the full freedom to choose their reproductive destiny. Vote to continue to allow safe and legal access to abortion services in our state. Vote for American women to continue to have reproductive freedom. Vote to end government control over a women’s uterus and womb.
