REJECT KOSA: Stop the Digital Stop and Frisk and Federal Biometric Dragnets

We are being told that the 'Kids Online Safety Act' (KOSA) is about protection. In reality, it is a federal mandate for a Digital Stop and Frisk policy that will strip away the anonymity and sovereignty of every American user. KOSA’s "age verification" requirements effectively force platforms to demand government IDs or face-scans. This creates a permanent, centralized database of our most sensitive data, held by corporations and accessible by the state. Forcing ID checks to access the digital public square ends the American tradition of anonymous speech. This disproportionately targets marginalized communities, whistleblowers, and independent thinkers who rely on privacy to survive. By giving the FTC and state Attorneys General the power to define "harmful content," KOSA creates a "Digital Sword" that can be used to silence any viewpoint—from religious expression to political dissent—under the guise of "mental health." We, the undersigned, demand that Congress VOTE NO on S. 1409 and H.R. 7891. We demand a 'Shield' that protects our children's privacy from Big Tech and Big Government alike, not a bill that turns the internet into a surveillance camp. Protect our Fourth Amendment rights. Protect our Sovereignty. Kill KOSA.
