Socially distant kids in school at lunch and snack!
1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
I greatly appreciate the mask mandate in schools to protect our children. Social distancing NEEDS to be a priority in areas where kids have masks off. Lunch time and snack time need to be distanced.
It's hard to believe, but if this isn't mandated, it's not happening. I have 3 children. We are in Montgomery County, upper Merion school district. 3 Covid cases are reported at the middle school, but the lunchroom has kids packed at tables. My 7th grader is vaccinated but is so worried about bringing this awful virus to his 2 unvaccinated siblings. The younger kindergartener is at Robert's which is better, but I'm hearing this from a 5 year old. My 3 year old, nonverbal autistic son is home, and I'm so afraid.
People are only doing what they are required to do! It makes no sense, but it's true. Please separate these kids when they are most vulnerable with masks off. I believe Dr. Toleno understands and is trying, but we need a mandate to make this happen it seems. There are field's and gyms and auditoriums. Separate these kids at lunch and snack. Please!
