The United States is not the only nation supporting Ukraine; in fact, 19 other countries have committed a greater percentage of their GDP to this cause. It is important to highlight that the aid for Ukraine comes with stringent oversight and accountability, ensuring that the resources are utilized effectively for their intended purpose. This aid is not just an act of international solidarity but also a significant investment in our domestic manufacturing and job creation, given that 100% of the funds for military aid are used for weapons produced in the United States. In light of these facts, I urge you to support a deal that will provide the necessary supplemental aid to Ukraine. This is not just about aiding a nation in need but about halting the spread of aggression that, if unchecked, could draw our own forces into combat. Our assistance to Ukraine is a strategic move that bolsters American readiness and prosperity, while standing firm against atrocities and aggression.
