Support the Keep Air Travel Safe Act and Separate DHS Funding

I'm writing about the Keep Air Travel Safe Act and the ongoing DHS funding crisis. If you're supporting bills to pay TSA officers and fund critical DHS functions separately from ICE, thank you. Keep pushing these measures forward. If you're rejecting these relief bills, you're participating in constitutional destruction. TSA officers are working without pay because of a political fight that has nothing to do with airport security. Airports nationwide are reporting hours-long wait times due to staffing shortages. Denver International Airport has resorted to collecting grocery store gift cards for federal employees who can't afford gas and food. This is solvable. Fund TSA and other essential DHS services now while the ICE debate continues separately. Holding airport security workers hostage to extract concessions on immigration enforcement is reckless governance. These officers protect travelers every day and deserve their paychecks regardless of where negotiations stand on ICE funding. Vote yes on the Keep Air Travel Safe Act and any legislation that separates funding for constitutional DHS functions from the ICE appropriations fight.
