An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Due Process for All

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The Trump administration's aggressive immigration enforcement measures have led to numerous instances of U.S. citizens being wrongfully detained and even deported, violating their constitutional rights to due process. This unacceptable situation highlights the urgent need to implement robust safeguards and accountability mechanisms within immigration enforcement agencies. All individuals, regardless of immigration status, deserve fair treatment and access to legal representation. Failure to uphold due process protections undermines the rule of law and erodes public trust in government institutions. Immediate action must be taken to prevent further injustices against American citizens and ensure the humane treatment of all persons subject to immigration proceedings.
